Plastic Surgery Associates Adds New Physician

(Grand Rapids, MI, June 9, 2008) — Plastic Surgery Associates, P.C., one of the most recognized names in plastic surgery and skin care in West Michigan, is proud to announce the addition of David R. Alfonso MD to their practice.

Dr. Alfonso graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He spent five years in the combined general surgery/plastice surgery residency program through The Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center/Michigan State University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in cosmetic surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary Cosmetic Surgery in New York City, where he specialized in facial cosmetic surgery and breast surgery.

Dr. Alfonso will be a welcome addition to Plastic Surgery Associates and is well versed on the latest procedural advances and state-of-the-art surgical equipment at Plastic Surgery Associates.

Dr. Alfonso has made numerous professional presentations and authored several articles on plastic surgery, including cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, cosmetic eyelid surgery, and facial trauma.
