We would like to take this time spotlight the achievements of one of our fantastic Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Johanna R. Krebiehl. Dr. Krebiehl recently received her certification as a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon by American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).

The American Board of Plastic Surgery was first established in 1937 with the mission to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and maintenance of certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists. This board provides professional recognition of the achievements of surgeons dedicated to this aesthetic specialty.

Graduating with honors from Wayne State University in 2006, Dr. Krebiehl continued on to medical school at Wayne State University where she was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and graduated with many top honors and high distinction in 2010. She began her surgical training in 2010 at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners and completed her plastic surgery residency in 2016. Following residency, Dr. Krebiehl spent an additional year of highly sub-specialized training in hand surgery in Los Angeles, California at the University of Southern California (USC). Plastic Surgery Associates proudly introduced Dr. Johanna Krebiehl into our practice in 2017.

Dr. Krebiehl is a highly trained Hand and Plastic surgeon with areas of specialty including hand and microsurgical reconstructive surgeries. She is also vastly skilled and trained in aesthetic breast, face and body contouring surgeries.
