Laser Skin Renewal: MedLite Laser

At Plastic Surgery Associates, we offer several different laser skin renewal treatments that can help turn back the years and treat a variety of skin issues like sun damage, hyper pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. Check out Dr. Jeanne Eyde’s video demonstration above!

Medlite is a laser that targets irregular brown pigmentation in the skin and stimulates collagen production, which restores volume to give your skin a youthful glow. It also helps to correct melasma, freckles, and sun damage, leaving the skin with a smoother, even appearance.

Now is the perfect time for laser skin renewal when your sun exposure is limited. A MedLite laser treatment lasts approximately 45 minutes and has no social downtime. As you can see in the video, you may experience redness and slight swelling afterward that will dissipate in one to two weeks depending on the amount of pigment present. While we most often treat the face and neck, we can also treat chest and arms.

Prior to her treatment, Jessica had heavy freckles and pigmentation from sun damage. A few days after her treatment slight swelling has subsided while some redness remains. This is easily covered with foundation (don’t forget your sunscreen!)

Two weeks later, much of the brown pigment has disappeared. For best results, we recommend treatments be spaced every two months until desired results are achieved.
