What is Jeuveau®?
Jeuveau® is a neuromodulator that works in a similar way to Botox® Cosmetic. It contains botulinum toxin type A, which works by relaxing muscles under the skin, resulting in fewer lines and wrinkles. Currently, Jeuveau® is FDA-approved for the treatment of glabellar lines, also known as frown lines.

Who can Benefit from Jeuveau®?
Adults who are looking to soften the appearance of moderate the severe glabellar lines can often benefit from this treatment option. However, you should not use Jeuveau® if you are pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant. The Treatment
During your Jeuveau® treatment, your skin will be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be offered to ensure you are completely comfortable. Next, the Jeuveau® will be carefully injected into the targeted areas to soften lines for a more youthful appearance. Treatment is quick, taking about 10-15 minutes to complete.
Jeuveau® Recovery
Following your Jeuveau® treatment, you may experience mild bruising, redness, or swelling at the injection site. Some patients may also experience temporary headaches. There is no downtime required following treatment, so you can feel free to return to your daily activities as soon as you feel comfortable. For the best results, we do recommend that you avoid strenuous activity for the next 12-24 hours. Results can last anywhere from 3-6 months.
