The Procedure
The typical breast enhancement surgery takes one to two hours. It is performed on an outpatient basis in our fully accredited ambulatory surgery center, with general anesthesia administered by a physician anesthesiologist to maximize your safety and comfort during and after the procedure.
The choice of implant and incision position is based on the shape of your current breast, the amount of breast tissue, overall body size, fitness and lifestyle choices. Every woman is unique; your breast augmentation experience is tailored uniquely to fit your goals and your body.
Recovery
You will be up and around the day of surgery. Though you may feel tired and sore for a few days, most women return to normal non-strenuous activities within 24 hours. There may be some mild swelling for a few weeks following your procedure, but most women easily return to work within a week. Your doctor will prescribe medication to control any pain you may have.
